Original music from NC to L.A.

 

Matt works and lives in Los Angeles, CA. He is originally from North Carolina and studied music at East Carolina University then moved to L.A. to attend the famed Musicians Institute. Matt has been a music professional for the past 20 years. His work as a producer and guitarist has led him to work with many Grammy Award winning and platinum-selling artists. As a producer, Matt has worked with Snoop Dogg, Nelly, J. Cole, Mario Winans, DJ Quik, Mann, Bobby Valentino and Paloma Faith. He wrote the theme song to "The Steve Harvey Project" on Centric TV as well as Steve Harvey's stand-up comedy film “Don’t Trip…He Ain’t Through with Me Yet". He was music producer for "The Tom Joyner Show" on ABC and his music can currently be heard on countless shows on the E! Television Network. 


In addition to the guitar work on his productions, as a guitarist, Matt has performed with many legendary artists such as Heatwave, The Delfonics, Peaches & Herb, The Manhattans, Bahamadia and Barbara Lewis.
